Follow Music

From the Futurists to Hyperdub, musical ideas have constantly evolved. Follow Music explores this vast area of experiments with thematic programs.

The selection doesn’t strive to be canonical, it rather comes from being a DJ who dislikes clichés and genres, but is fond of moving on the time line.

For more info, please refer to A Speaking Archive in the main menu.

Beyond Spotify

Spotify may use the most advanced AI around, however, when it comes to Avant-garde and Avant-pop, there are many blank areas in the database.

On average, 50% of the titles that are featured in Follow Music’s programs are missing on Spotify.

O-YES

Developing Follow Music’s thematic programs takes a lot of effort. If you enjoy them, please consider a monthly subscription of 2.99€ (or more) via Mixcloud.

Mixcloud is the first hosting provider to have come up with an infrastructure that allows DJ’s to legally present music online.

  • 65% of your subscription fee go to artists featured on Follow Music
  • 18% are for music presenters like myself
  • 12% stay with Mixcloud
  • 5% are for fees

If you want to support my idea of sonic archeology directly, please go ahead with a donation via Paypal. Any amount is welcome and much appreciated!
